  • Notes 
    • Sons Robert and William Hester eventually died during the Civil War. I don't believe either sired any children so they are of no consequence to this database.
    • This family makes little sense. Two of Jane's McDaniel/McDonnell children died at Broughton, one was recorded as having HD. I found no death certificate for the other. We also have HD in her Hester great-grandchildren with no symptoms in her son or granddaughter. I thought the Conley connection was a big coincidence. Maybe that family is a carrier also?
