Notes:
Indian City existed about 6 miles east of Cushing from the time of the Sac & Fox removal to their lands in what are now Payne, Creek and Lincoln Counties. It was "destroyed" in about 1903 after several smallpox epidemics decimated the Indians. It is shown on the 1907 Statehood Atlas of Payne County as Indian Village.
